On May 23rd and 24th, 2024, the USAID Investment Promotion Activity (IPA) team actively engaged in a series of crucial events, including a Consultative Session & Focus Group Discussion, and meeting with PPP Unit Team. These sessions, which began at Mövenpick Hotel Karachi followed by a meeting at PPP Unit, Sindh, gathered key PPP stakeholders to finalize the draft policy titled “Framework for Development of Sindh’s USP Policy for PPPs.”

The discussions involved an in-depth review of the Sindh PPP framework, incorporating international best practices for handling Unsolicited Proposals (USPs) in key areas such as, Submission and Screening, Evaluations, Project Development, and Procurement.

These events represent a significant step toward the development and implementation of a comprehensive USP policy for PPPs in Sindh, highlighting a commitment to enhancing public-private collaborations that can drive sustainable development.
