On May 8, 2024, the PPP Unit Sindh and the Sindh Mass Transit Authority (SMTA) hosted a meeting to discuss the “Supply and Operations of Buses for the Yellow Line BRT” project. The meeting included participation from transaction advisors from Exponent Engineer, Logit Consulting (Technical), EY (Financial), and Nawaz Hussain Sikandar, Akhund Forbes (Legal). The project involves a private operator who will finance, procure, supply, operate, and maintain various systems such as the bus fleet, Intelligent Transport System, fare collection, depot equipment, and provide related services for the Yellow Line BRT.
